BIO

Angela is a theatre artist based in Saskatoon. Since graduating from the BFA Acting program at the University of Saskatchewan in 2011, she has appeared consistently on professional stages throughout the province, including Globe Theatre, Persephone Theatre, and the Station Arts Centre, as well as in many independent productions.

A singer and classically trained pianist, Angela has a particular love for plays with music, especially those that give her the opportunity to pick up a new instrument. She has performed as an actor/musician in several shows, including Chickens, Tent Meeting, and the world premiere of the new musical Us.

Outside of performing, Angela is also a fledgling playwright and director. She was a member of Persephone Theatre's 16/17 Playwrights' Unit, and her short plays have appeared at the Short Cuts Festival and at Sum Theatre's Last Sunday. Most recently, she directed Constellations for Brick + Mortar Theatre.

Next up, Angela will be appearing in Todd Devonshire's new play Monday Night as part of the Live Five independent theatre season.
